A free monthly book for every child

Help bring a free book every month to every child under five in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania does not yet fund Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. This proposal asks the Legislature to take the first step: fund enrollment for one in four children under five — about 170,000 kids — so each receives a free, age-appropriate book every month.

Funding Proposal

A funded path to a book in every child’s hands

Pennsylvania does not yet guarantee Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to its children. This proposal asks the Legislature to fund a first phase — enrollment for 25% of children under five, about 170,000 kids — so each receives a free book every month regardless of family income, with every child as the goal.
